First Kingvale Sunset Showdown

Tue, 04/15/2008 - 13:11 Kingvale

Kingvale Terrain Project's 1st Sunset Showdown went down on Friday night and went off without a hitch and some sick shredding. As the sun set on the wild west of snowboard parks, the KTP crew set up a sick park with multiple lines for a laid back jam contest that was once again a super fun session at Kingvale Terrain Project. The contest was two hours long and was packed with sick tricks, amazing riders, and some Pro Snowboarders out to enjoy the evening at Kingvale. Judged by the KTP Crew, Shawn Durst, Pat Lee, Lane Knaack, and Day Franzen. Here's a look at the action.

Smokin Snowboards rider Dakota Whittaker.

Flow team rider and Soldiers Outerwear rider Nial Romanek.

Shawn Durst pressing it out on the Kingvale Box

Third place Brian Nary front board 270.

Second place Midget Mafia and Technine rider Tyler Lynch.

Tyler Lynch... yet another sick shredder out of Rutland, Vermont.

First place Cody Boan. He was absolutely killing it. Watch out for this kid.

100 dollar first place girls rider, Taylor from Boards in Motion Board shop with Day Franzen and crew.

Kingvale Terrain Project Crew with Mark Frank Montoya, second place Tyler Lynch, and third place Brina Nary with their 5150 snowboards. Cody Boan Twisted his ankle and was chillin out on a snowmobile and he got a board too.
